Completing Certification
The first step in completing CPCA Certification is for FCPC or CPCA member institutions to APPLY to become a candidate for certification by the CPCA Certification Commission within 3-years of joining the FCPC or the CPCA.
The second step in completing CPCA Certification is the submission of the Self-Study by the Candidate Institution to the CPCA Certification Commission.
The third step in completing CPCA Certification is the Site-Visit by a CPCA Certification Commission Staff member and a team of peer reviewers that is scheduled within 30 days after the submission of the Self-Study.
The fourth step in completing CPCA Certification is the Site-Visit Report prepared by the CPCA Certification Commission Staff member who leads the Site-Visit. The report is due to the CPCA Certification Commission within 15 days after the conclusion of the Site-Visit.
The fifth step in completing CPCA Certification is the Site-Visit Response by a Candidate Institution back to the CPCA Certification Commission within 15 days of receiving the Site-Visit Report from the CPCA Certification Commission.
The final step in completing CPCA Certification is the Certification action taken by the CPCA Certification Commission within 30 days after receiving the Site-Visit Response from the Candidate Institution.

- Probation
- Not-Certified
